Q&A WITH MEGAN:
Favorite place to travel? My favourite place to travel is Seiser Alm, Italy. They always have the most creative and flowing slope course to ride! The town is also right in the mountains and has the most beautiful scenery. Sharp rigid mountains and beautiful meadows:)
Best moment in your career? The best moment of my career so far was winning X Games Big Air in Norway 2020. The energy at the event was incredible. So many people were at the bottom of the course cheering. It was also special because it was my first X Games medal, which has been a dream of mine since I started skiing.
Favorite things to do when you’re not riding? When I’m not riding, I love spending time on the water back home. I live on Georgian Bay so in the summer I love to do activities on the water with friends and family. Typically go boating, wakeboarding, or cliff jumping.
Fashion essentials? My fashion/style essentials (especially for ski trips) are big comfy sweaters/fleece. After skiing it’s always the best feeling to curl up in a cozy sweater and relax. I have a Roxy sheep wool style sweater (Pluma Sherpa half-zip) that is the most comfortable thing ever created! Also big fan of base layers. It’s like wearing pyjamas all day, plus keep you super warm on the hill:)
Favorite moment with ROXY? My favourite moment so far with ROXY has been the Sending for Sarah event hosted at Blue Mountain. I have been the last 3 years and every time it’s such a fun-filled day. It’s so nice to be able to ski with a group of girls and take over the park. There are always lots of laughs, activities (like yoga), and such a fun energy all around.
